DIABETES
The Diabetes working group met in Newry, Feb 27 2006. The reports and presentations delivered at the March 14th 2006 meeting of the Steering Group are available below.
NANOTECHNOLOGY
A joint US-Ireland workshop took place on October 23-24 2006 in the Ramada Hotel in Belfast, focused on the key themes of Nanomagnetics / Spintronics; Self-assembly of Nanomaterials; Nanoscale computation and Nanobiotechnology.

CYSTIC FIBROSIS
A joint U.S. - Ireland Cystic Fibrosis workshop took place on June 23rd 2006 in the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin. The workshop final report is available below:
SENSORS
A profile of Sensors R&D activity on the island was presented at the November 12th 2006 meeting of the Steering group. The report is available below.
A joint US-Ireland workshop took place on 20th & 21st February 2007 in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dublin Airport. The workshop focused on the key themes of Wireless Sensor Networks, Biomedical/Bioanalytical Sensors, Point of Care Diagnostics and Envirnomental Sensors.
